so, i'm not an anime connoisseur, such as yourself ma'am but that track from Baccano! intrigued me (it was good). I'm about half way through 'Canaan' but other than the wiki, anything to add as to "why I should watch it?"... it seems like something i'd like.

Baccano? well, i’m not sure what you got from the wiki but i think the most appealing thing to me were the characters. it’s got a huge cast and they’ve all got their own little stories that tie into the one big story that’s quite well told. the story, the setting, and the overall style are pretty unique for anime (the story jumps all over the place from different points of view and different points in time). and the music is awesome, as you have heard.
if you like it, you should also check out Durarara! both of them are based on light novels by the same guy, and so Durarara has a similar feel and flow to it, though it takes place in modern day Japan. :3
